History

• Named after the repentant criminal crucified with Jesus Christ at Calvary
• Founded by the late Reverend Jack Hickey, OP, a Vanderbilt University Chaplain
• The first house opened in 1974 in Nashville; grown to eleven houses in five states (Tennessee,Vermont, Indiana, Massachusetts, New Mexico)
